$13.6 Million in Lottery Prizes Won in February 2021

Kansas Lottery players took home a good chunk of cash in February, totaling $13.6 million in prizes! Of that, $11.2 million was claimed on instant scratch games, $1.5 million was won on draw games, and $892,460 was won on monitor games!

Kansas is one of seven states where winners can claim their prizes anonymously. The Kansas Lottery saw 18 players claim instant prizes of $10,000 or greater, and they all chose to remain anonymous. Some highlights from instant winners include:

  • One $75,000 winner on the $10 Gems Multiplier Super ticket, which was the last top prize in the game;
  • One $50,000 prize on the $5 Super Red Hot Crossword game, which was the last top prize in the game;
  • Three $25,000 prizes—one each on the $5 Kansas City Chiefs ticket, $5 Holiday Lucky Times 50 game, and $5 2021 Doubler game; and
  • Four $20,000 wins, all on the $2 Double Bonus Crossword game!

Below is how much was won throughout February for draw and monitor games:

  • Powerball: $257,575, including one $50,000 prize;
  • Mega Millions: $135,118, including two $10,000 wins;
  • Lotto America: $106,376, including one $1,000 win;
  • Super Kansas Cash: $280,655, including eight $2,000 wins;
  • Lucky for Life: $152,334, including one $5,000 win;
  • Pick 3: $463,340, including 599 winners who each won $500;
  • 2by2: $119,726, including two $22,000 top prizes;
  • Keno: $520,639; and
  • Racetrax: $371,821.

The Kansas Lottery encourages players to double-check their tickets since many large prizes remain unclaimed, including the $1 million grand prize from the Holiday Millionaire Raffle game, a $50,000 Powerball prize sold in South Central Kansas on February 13, and the $22,000 2by2 prize sold in Northeast Kansas on February 27! Players have 365 days from the date of a drawing to claim their prize. For instant games, players have 180 days from the date a game ends to claim.
