Starting Monday, July 19, Kansas Lottery players will have a chance for a lifetime of winning every day when the Lucky for Life® draw game expands from two drawings per week to seven drawings per week! Players may purchase tickets for the new draw schedule at any Kansas Lottery retailer starting today!
While the number of consecutive multi-draws a player could purchase had gradually decreased until the two-day-a-week draw schedule came to an end on July 15, players can now purchase their preferred number of drawings, up to a maximum of 15 consecutive draws. The cost per play, how to play the game, and the prize structure will remain the same.
Since the game’s introduction to Kansas in November 2016, one Kansan has won the top prize of $1,000 a day for life and six others have won the second-tier prize of $25,000 a year for life.
Prior to the change, the Lucky for Life® game was drawn on Mondays and Thursdays. All drawings will continue to take place at 9:38 p.m. CT. Tickets are $2 per play, and players have until 7:59 p.m. CT on the night of the drawing to purchase tickets.
Players are invited to submit all their winning and non-winning tickets in the Kansas Lottery PlayOn® Players Loyalty program to earn points for drawing entries and a chance to win cash and other prizes! PlayOn® is a registered trademark of Pollard Banknote Limited used under license.
