Kansas Lottery players hit it big in July, with $15.5 million in prizes won or claimed! Of that, $12.6 million was claimed on instant scratch games, $1.9 million was won on draw games, and $986,052 was won on monitor games!

Kansas is one of seven states where winners can claim their prizes anonymously. The Kansas Lottery saw 19 players claim instant prizes of $10,000 or greater, and three of those winners publicly shared their stories with the Kansas Lottery. Their stories can be found here. Some highlights from instant winners include:

• One $250,000 prize on the $30 $250,000 Jackpot game;
• One $100,000 prize on the $20 Power 20X game;
• One $50,000 prize on the $5 Super Red Hot Crossword ticket;
• Three $25,000 prizes—two on the new $5 Casino Cash game and one on the $5 50X ticket;
• Four $20,000 prizes, all on the $2 Double Bonus Crossword game; and
• Two $15,000 prizes on the $3 Loteria game, which were the last top prizes in the game.

Below is how much was won throughout July for draw and monitor games:

• Powerball: $322,152, including two $50,000 prizes;
• Mega Millions: $120,156, including two $1,500 prizes and two $1,000 prizes;
• Lotto America: $134,630, including one $4,000 win and four $1,000 prizes;
• Super Kansas Cash: $717,087, including the $538,544 jackpot hit on July 26 and six $2,000 prizes;
• Lucky for Life: $194,471, including two $5,000 wins;
• Pick 3: $335,000, including 374 winners who each won $500;
• 2by2: $100,255, including one top prize of $22,000;
• Keno: $549,150; and
• Racetrax: $436,902.50, including a $10,011 win.

The Kansas Lottery encourages players to double-check their tickets since many large prizes remain unclaimed, including a $1 million Mega Millions prize sold in South Central Kansas on June 1, one $50,000 Powerball prize sold in South Central Kansas on February 13, two $20,000 Lotto America prizes sold in Northwest Kansas (one on June 26 and the other on April 21), and several Holiday Millionaire Raffle prizes of $1,000! Players have 365 days from the date of a drawing to claim their prize. For instant games, players have 180 days from the date a game ends to claim.
