Promotion Winners!

The Kansas Lottery is congratulating Michael Burt of Tescott and Steve Sehie of El Dorado on winning two tickets to The Breeders' Cup World Championships Race at the Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California!

Burt and Sehie qualified for the Race to the Cup promotion by entering winning and non-winning Kansas Lottery Racetrax tickets into their PlayOn app. Players earned one entry per dollar based on the cost of the ticket. There were a total of 687,809 entries in the promotion which ran from March 1, 2019, until June 10.

The Breeders’ Cup begins on Friday, November 1, 2019, and ends on Saturday, November 2.

The prize package includes the following:

• Two tickets to the Breeder’s Cup
• Round trip coach airline tickets to LAX from Kansas City, MO, Manhattan, KS, Wichita, KS or Denver, CO
• Four-day full-size rental car or equivalent Uber gift card
• Three-nights hotel accommodations at the four-star Hilton Los Angeles-Universal City Hotel (includes parking, porterage, all taxes, and gratuities)
• Breakfast daily for three mornings
• Grandstand tickets to both days of the Breeders' Cup World Championships Race at the Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California
• $1,000 in cash
• State and federal withholding taxes are paid by the Kansas Lottery
• The prize is valued at approximately $12,738
