Lucky for Life Expanding Drawings to Seven Days a Week Starting July 19

Kansas Lottery players will soon have a chance for a lifetime of winning every day when the Lucky for Life® draw game expands from two drawings per week to seven drawings per week! The change in schedule will start Monday, July 19, 2021. The cost per play, how to play the game, and the prize structure will remain the same.

“Having the chance to win the ultimate prize every day will provide additional excitement for our players and our retail partners,” said Kansas Lottery Executive Director Stephen Durrell. “The new game schedule gives Kansans the incredible opportunity to win a lifetime prize seven nights a week.”

The game change will affect players who like to purchase multi-draw tickets. To prepare, the Kansas Lottery is “stepping down” the number of consecutive Lucky for Life drawings players can purchase after the May 24 drawing until July 19 when sales begin for the new schedule of the Lucky for Life game. For more information on the number of multi-draws available from now until the game change, click here to see the Step-Down Schedule.

Since the game’s introduction to Kansas in November 2016, one Kansan has won the top prize of $1,000 a day for life and five others have won the second-tier prize of $25,000 a year for life.

The Lucky for Life® game is currently drawn on Mondays and Thursdays. All drawings will continue to take place at 9:38 p.m. CT. Tickets are $2 per play, and players have until 7:59 p.m. CT on the night of the drawing to purchase tickets.

Players are invited to submit all their winning and non-winning tickets in the Kansas Lottery PlayOn® Players Loyalty program to earn points for drawing entries and a chance to win cash and other prizes! PlayOn® is a registered trademark of Pollard Banknote Limited used under license.
